Description:
John and Najwa Massad opened their first restaurant in Mankato, on November 4, 1984. The restaurant was named after their eldest daughter Meray and featured a combination of American and Mediterranean cuisine with a European flare. The restaurant quickly became a Mankato favorite. The success of the restaurant has resulted in additional businesses owned by the Massad's in various aspects of the culinary industry. These businesses include Najwa's Catering in the Verizon Civic Center, Massad's in the River Hills Mall, and their newest venture, Olives, in the new Hilton Garden Inn.

Customer Reviews & Ratings
Both the food and atmosphere are elegant and sophisticated. A great place for brunch, a business lunch or cocktails after work.

I have been a guest at Olives on a number of occasions and feel compelled to let others know about this gem in greater Minnesota. Minneapolis and St. Paul have nothing on Olives for delicious cuisine, variety, price point and attentive service. It's worth the drive for a special occasion or just any reason for a short drive from the twin cities. If you are about freshly prepared, appealingly served and fabulous flavor Olives is your place.
